Meet the Siblings:

I’m doing a natural phenomenon myth. I feel that a psychological point of view in crafting my own myth is that it reflects a social and cultural order. Each sibling represents a different human emotional state:

Veyra, the Blooming One, Goddess of Spring, symbolized hope and renewal, much like youth and fresh beginnings.

Solmar, the Radiant, God of Summer, embodied passion and abundance, representing life’s peak energy and ambition.

Auten, the Fading King, God of Autumn, stood for reflection and preparation, echoing the wisdom of aging.

Hygris, the Silent One, Goddess of Winter, represented isolation and rest, mirroring grief and introspection.

The fear of the unknown and need for control. Ancient civilizations depended on the seasons for survival. A myth like this could serve to reduce fear of the uncontrollable by giving a narrative to nature’s unpredictability. Psychologically, humans feel safer when they believe divine forces are responsible rather than pure randomness.
